 A wedding is probably the most stressful yet fulfilling event in a woman’s life. There are plenty of factors to take into consideration especially during the planning stage. The date and location are some of the most important things to decide for the ceremony. Preparing the details of your wedding starts at the time that your sweetheart proposes to you; it ends after your honeymoon.

 

There are three stages in planning a wedding. First is the pre-wedding stage which entails the most tasks and preparation. Next is the wedding itself which focuses more on the execution of the planned details during the first stage. And lastly, we have the honeymoon stage. This is another important factor of the wedding because this serves as a reward for the hard work that both of you have invested for your wedding.

 

Pre-Wedding Stage

 Most of the decisions are made during the pre-wedding stage. There are definitely a lot of things that make up a wedding. Everything should be according to the preferences of the couple: from the menu, to the gowns, up to the giveaways.   No wonder planning a wedding is stressful to the couple.

 That is part of the reason why there are coordinators who specialize in planning weddings because they know that the couple, especially the bride, wants the ceremony to be impeccable. It is, after all, one of the best events in your life. Wedding coordinators do not only help you organize your wedding; they can also help you find the best deals and discounts to suit your budget for your big day.  However, they are often very expensive.  You can instead get help from family and friends to plan the wedding.  You can outsource the more mundane tasks to family and friends—such as getting in contact and coordinating with caterers, bands, floral shops, etc.  When delegating, be sure to be as clear as possible with the instructions.  Leave no room for interpretation.  When it comes down to choosing tastes and preferences for the wedding, you and your groom-to-be should be the one making the decisions.

After planning all the details to make your big day perfect, the next hurdle arises: the execution. This is the most important stage in the process because all that planning would be useless if everything would go wrong on the wedding day itself. That’s why wedding planners have a special package for those brides who need extra help during the ceremony. Of course, as the bride, you can’t handle all the details yourself; you will be needing assistance.

 

Post-Wedding Stage

 

After all the commotion in the ceremony, it’s time to look forward to the honeymoon! There are plenty of good honeymoon spots in the US or abroad. Choose a relaxing place that also offers a variety of activities for you and your husband. However, don’t plan your days too formally. Enjoy the spontaneity of your first moments as a couple. You will surely get to know more about each other’s interests during your quality time.

 

All of the frustrations and stress brought about by planning a wedding should not make you forget the reason why you are exerting a lot of effort for a perfect ceremony. Instead, it should serve as a reminder of your love for each other. No one would bother to plan for the best wedding day if it were not important for them. Remember that weddings are not about other people. It is always supposed to be about what you and your future partner both want. Do your best to make your wedding planning worry-free and perfectly organized, so you are sure to have your big day running smoothly.
